Google‘s upcoming campus in Hyderabad is the talk of the town right now. Hyderabad was historically known as a pearl and diamond trading centre. It is called as the “City of Pearls”. Google already has an office in Hyderabad, but it’s a leased facility and now they are focussing on building their own with a huge investment.
Google already has offices in India at four places – Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Mumbai. And this new Hyderabad office could be the hub for all, even for all in Asia. In article I have shared some updates about the upcoming Google Hyderabad Campus, these updates are gathered from the tweets and reports given by Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao.
Upcoming Google Hyderabad Campus
1. This campus will be biggest campus outside US for Google. It’ll be around 2 million square feet. David Radcliffe (Vice president, Real Estate & Workplace at Google) said, “About 12 months will be spent on planning and the construction work is supposed to start at around summer of 2016. The construction should take about two and a half years and we could have a facility as soon as early 2019.”
