Note: This is just a fun post and meant no offence to the hardworking talented developers out there.
Internet is full of people who buy domain names for $1 and then add “CEO & Founder” to their profile. If you own a blog, it doesn’t mean you can become a CEO for that. Likewise, people become hackers when they root their phone by following a tutorial. They also claim to be developers sometimes, just because they can tweak some settings in their phones. And this post is dedicated for them. 😉
Easiest Way To Become A Developer
If you own an Android smartphone then this is pretty simple. Just follow these two steps.
1. Go to Settings > About phone.
2. Scroll down and tap on “Build number” option 7 times. After that, you’ll get a “You are now a developer!” small popup.
Tada! You achieved it! 😛 Simple, isn’t it?
P.S. Don’t forget to take a screenshot when that small popup appears. Else you have to follow the steps again. 😛
Now it’s time to try this trick and share it with your friends on Social Media. You can make your entry as a wannabe developer if you can understand and apply the settings under “Developer Options”. You can take our ‘Reduce Lag & Speed Up Android Devices‘ tutorial for example.
Also if you are serious about learning more about Android then the easiest way to get started is by rooting your Android device (please read pros & cons of rooting). By this you can learn more about Android’s full functionalities and you can also experiment with custom ROMs (say CyanogenMod).
I started to learn more about Android when I started to write more about Android on DeviceBAR. For each and every tutorial, I forced myself to try all those options and settings personally, see the results and write articles about it. As a Blogger, this is a blessing for me.
LOL! I didn’t think it was that much easier. When I saw the title, I thought it should be something related to learning programming language easier! Anyways, that was a fun! Haha! 😀
