Enrique Iglesias Injured By Grabbing A Drone During A Concert

During a show in Tijuana, Mexico, Enrique Iglesias tried to grab a drone and ended up getting his fingers badly injured. Seems like a propeller-driven drone was hovering above him during the concert and Iglesias tried to grab the drone to give audience a look from his point-of-view (which he usually does it seems). Reports say he grabbed the wrong part of the drone and it sliced into his hand. His t-shirt was soaked with blood. This concert is a part of his Sex and Love world tour.

Iglesias was rushed to the airport and after getting first-aid, he boarded a plane to Los Angeles to see a specialist for his injury. His spokesperson confirmed the incident on Instagram.

LAST NIGHT IN #TIJUANA ENRIQUE IGLESIAS SUFFER AN ACCIDENT INTERACTING WITH THE DRONE IN THE SHOW Last night Enrique had a show at a bullfight ring in Tijuana, Mexico for 12k+ people as part of his #SexandLove world tour. During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a Point of View shot. Something went wrong and he had an accident. He was semi-treated by crew on the side of the stage to try and stop the bleeding. He was advised to stop the show. He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show. He was rushed to the airport where an ambulance met him there. He was then put on a plane to LA where we was then put on a plane to see a specialist. We will continue to update as we have more info. Thank you all for your love and concern.

Iglesias’s representative said, “During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a Point of View shot. Something went wrong and he had an accident. He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show.”

Enrique Iglesias was advised to end the show right after this incident but instead he went on to perform for another 30 minutes. Was it really worth it?
